For over two decades, Troy has assisted in employment and labor matters in private practice and as a General Counsel for a large healthcare organization in Phoenix. In addition to his legal experience, Troy has boots-on-the-ground experience as a Human Resources Director and consultant for local and large national companies. From this vantage, Troy represents both individual employees and business clients in harassment/discrimination, wrongful termination, employee discipline, wage and hour issues, contract disputes, severance agreements, and other employment matters. Troy helps his clients from consultation and advice all the way through litigation and appeal.

In his role as a General Counsel in the healthcare industry, Troy has expertise in provider disciplinary matters, compliance with federal and state laws, administrative and government audits and certifications, and preparing for those audits. Troy represents healthcare agencies, including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and provider practice groups on these matters. Troy is also a go-to for reviewing individual provider and practice group agreements.

Troy served as the Editor-in-Chief for his law review and clerked for judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Troy was AWESOME!
I was referred to Troy, by a friend. He quickly diagnosed my situation, wrote up a demand letter, and sent to the person who hurt me, ASAP. Nothing would have been done if it wasn't for his quick work. He was always there to update me and answer my questions. It was a load off of my shoulders to let a professional take over for me. Thank you Troy!

Health Care
We have consulted Troy's expertise to give guidance on a variety of internal policies and procedures relating to our health care institution. We have phone call discussions to specify our exact needs and concerns and we received both follow-up calls and email communication directly from Troy to better understand the situation. His research and advice were clear and understandable and really allowed our company to have much-needed guidance on how to best proceed.

I highly recommend The Foster Law Group
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Troy Foster at The Foster Law Group. Troy was very attentive to all the information I supplied regarding my case. Troy was diligent on clarification of all details. He was genuinely concerned and offered emotional succor. I was very comfortable and felt reassured during the entire process. He settled may case beyond my expectations in a very short time frame. I would highly recommend him.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2014.

Probation issued in AZ, 2014
updated on 02/02/2019

Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Troy's comment: “Ten years ago, I suffered a personal crisis that I handled poorly. Instead of stopping my practice, I threw himself into my work and did not add value to my clients. Though I took full responsibility and made things right, I have learned much more that helps me with clients. I firmly believe that raising terminal kids has given me better perspective and understanding the value of second chances. I'm honored that my clients let me help them on the most difficult paths. I understand better now”

Suspension issued in AZ, 2011
updated on 02/02/2019

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.
