From the moment I walked into Mr. Powell's office I was treated with respect. Immediately I was offered coffee and or water (the real stuff, lol). The staff was very attentive to my needs, was very helpful, and answered all of my questions and concerns. Mr. Powell was VERY patient and thorough. He wa...sn't like a lot of lawyers that uses terms you cant understand. He broke down every portion of my paperwork and made sure I understood what was going on. He NEVER once made me feel guilty or embarrassed for filing bankruptcy. He was compassionate to my needs and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. I received all of my paperwork on time in the mail as promised. All of my phone calls were returned in a timely manner. Everyone I talked to were kind and polite. I really cant say enough good things about this office. I was/am VERY satisfied with ALL of their services! Don is a rare gem in the legal world. Not only is he highly knowledgeable and competent, but he is also an honest, ethical person who cares about his clients' lives. I was going through a divorce that led to bankruptcy when my ex-husband refused to pay some massive debts he had created--debts I would... never have been able to pay off. I had two children to care for, and it was, to say the least, a very emotional time. Don never once talked down to me, he always patiently explained my options and answered my questions, and he never pushed me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. He was always available when I needed him, and he even helped me on another case when I needed someone I could trust to review some legal documents for me. He went above and beyond the services I paid for and is a gracious and kind person. He truly advocates for his clients, and that, these days, is hard to find.

Don Powell did a masterful job with my case. I had a terrible run of it for a while and he helped put all of that behind me. He helped me through every twist and turn and quite honestly allowed me to sleep better at night. His assistant is just top notch and I cannot say enough good things about h...er. He also has such a great way of explaining some complex legal issue or matter in such a rudimentary way. Don always had a way of explaining it simply. Which in turn always gave me confidence that he was a master of his craft.

We hired Don Powell to handle an stubborn foreclosure & bankruptcy case. He knows the law, presented the options, let us decide the direction. He then guided us through the processes, returned calls and e-mail. Explained the known outcome for each decision and if the decision might have a unknown re...sult. His experience in the court process allowed us to be confident that all of the fillings were being done timely and correct. He is a honorable man of his word, does what he says he will do.
