My work permit was lost in transit, and after 10 months of arguing with USCIS, I got my new work permit with approval date of July 2020. Paid Emilia upfront for my wife to get a visa. I would call to get an update and never would get a call back. Very Frustrating. I finally got a letter stating I was denied (Petitioner) and I needed a waiver to proceed. When I came in to discuss my case they wanted another $800.00 to proceed to get th...is "waiver". It is a one time chance to get this waiver and after doing some research and hearing what Emilia and her team were going to do. I decided it was in my best interest to hire another lawyer and glad I did. I called Emilia office staff a few times to see if I could get a partial refund since I paid in full, however, I never received a return phone call (not surprised).

Im very happy this site has 4star reviews, i just wish i could say the same . I was very excited yet very nervous to start this journey for my husband for his legal status. We had a consultation, in which we understood everything while. Then we saw Nina who then helped us with all our forms . Ni...na filled out our forms sent out our forms and charged for her services .. everything was great nina seemed while educated in this and brought us comfort to this process. Then all went down the the toilet. As we received a letter requesting all information needed, we gathered our papers took them to nina so she can have them sent out . We then received a second letter stating our application was denied do to not receiving any information requested. This happened in 2013 called the firm right away spoke with nina she said she would call back waited a month called several times after never could get a hold of her . Im still waiting. Im so confused if our case wasn't one to be able to work with let me know before you take money from me . Im still working on getting my husbands legal status, just scared to trust any firm out there .

I've been waiting over two months for them to solve my case which is something simple. They haven't called me and I have to be the one to call them. I wouldn't recommend them and I understand it can get busy but that doesn't give them an excuse that's why they're paid. I should've listened to those w...ho told me not to hire them. A client of theirs said they never answered their calls again and I'm hoping this doesn't happen to me.
