Stephen C Kunkle

I requested information from Stephen Kunkle regarding a criminal matter. He timely provided detailed information (including relevant case law) in response to my questions. His information was accurate and current. He even followed up to see if I needed additional information. If I get to a point t...hat I am forced to retain legal counsel, I will definitely hire Stephen Kunkle.

Mr. Kunkle was hired for a simple matter and did not return phone calls for many, many weeks. Only when having to physically go to his office and demand that he return calls did he finally call, only to repeat not returning calls for another several weeks. This continued with great severity for over ...six months. When requested to refund [partial] retainer, he responded with an ugly, hurtful attack letter on on his client. He got very angry, spiteful and unhinged with grief when simply asked for a partial refund. He is knowledgeable, but I feel very un loyal. Loyalty is key when engaging and attorney. If a client asks for information to be explained, they should receive that information in a timely matter. I never abused requesting information, only asked to return calls no more than four times in six months.
