Gayathiri Shanmuganatha

Gaya is a civil and commercial litigator who focuses her practice on business (contract, intra-company, misappropriation, trade secret and fiduciary issues) and consumer disputes. Gaya is also a member of Tiffany & Bosco’s Automotive Group and regularly represents automobile dealers in navigating state and federal regulations as well as negotiating, arbitrating, and litigating consumer disputes.

Gaya has been certified by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists and the Electronic Discovery Institute and has extensive, hands-on experience managing cases with large volumes of data, discovery disputes, and court appointed special masters and has successfully obtained sanctions against her opponents for failing to produce or preserve Electronically Stored Information. Gaya has prepared and tried cases in Arizona, California, and Nevada and has successfully obtained emergency Temporary Restraining Orders and Injunctions in Arizona, Illinois, and Texas. In addition to being experienced in litigating cases to a verdict, Gaya is also experienced in resolving disputes in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.

Gaya also regularly represents congregate care/group home providers in connection with the services they offer to the State of Arizona. Specifically, Gaya works with these business owners to navigate and comply with the State of Arizona’s regulations and codes, the Department of Child Safety’s policies and procedures, and the provisions in the procurement contract. Gaya also helps resolve disputes and negotiate resolutions between the congregate care/group home providers and the State of Arizona/Department of Child Safety regarding licensing, placements and contract issues. Finally, Gaya is also experienced in litigating claims against the State of Arizona/Department of Child Safety and achieving favorable resolutions for her clients.
