Before I hired Darin I went through a total of 3 different attorneys in two different states fighting a jurisdiction battle, when my daughter was taken to a different state. It was a very difficult decision to switch attorneys at one of the most difficult, time sensitive and important times in my ca...se, but I'm very glad I did. Upon receiving my file from previous attorneys Darin came very familiar with my case quickly. Like other people have explained he took the time to lay everything out and explain how the process was going to proceed and what to expect and continued to do this as new issues arrived. He is also very quick at responding to emails and phone calls. My case was getting close to trial as told by my previous attorneys, I did not want to go to trial as I know this is very costly (most attorneys will convince you that you need to.) Darin knew my situation, fought for what was right and got the results I wanted while avoiding a costly trial. He is extremely knowledgeable in the Child Support Guidelines as well. I hired Darin to replace my existing attorney on a UCCJEA (Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act) case. Darin accepted the challenge even though he would be engaging it later in the process. Mediation was scheduled in 3-weeks, and Darin was required to acquire all the case files from my... previous attorney, review and familiarize himself with a lengthy complicated case starting from scratch, and put together all RSM and ADR documents quickly. My case encountered some additions of unexpected challenges related to California Child Support Agency involvement that were due to circumstances that existed before Darin's representation and beyond his control. We then encountered less than ideal delays from the opposing party. Despite starting from behind, California's interference which threatened a Rule 69 Agreement, opposing parties delays (not opposing legal counsel) and me interfering probably more than I should have, Darin met all deadlines, negotiated a very favorable Rule 69 Agreement, negotiated to eliminate child support until future modifications were filed, supported me in self representing myself against California's Child Support Agency-which led to a successful dismissal. Overall, Darin identified and quickly adapted his strategy to changing circumstances, initiated the lead over a stipulation order filing, in response to a very tight deadline that he was determined to meet, returned all my calls and e-mails quickly as he promised he would, drove across Phoenix personally to pick up files from prior attorney when they were not being delivered on schedule, and ultimately brought the biggest challenge that I have experienced in life so far, to a peaceful resolution for the better good of my daughter and her parents. I will admit that I am hard to please at times, but Darin managed to bring a smile to my face in closing. I highly recommend Darin to anyone who really wants close personal attention to their case and the best chance at getting what is fair.

Having Darin as my attorney has definitely been a blessing. Not only did he handle my divorce with professionalism, but he also made sure to clarify and explain every process.
