Compassionate lawyer !

Margarita helped me with my case 3 years ago! She did it pro bono ! I got my work permit in a couple of months .She was very professional and made me feel welcome. I will probably hire her again in the future.

A no nonsese lawyer that is great at what she does!

We hired Mrs. Silva 4 years ago for our immigration battle and she is not like the typical lawyer that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. She handled everything great and was VERY knowledgeable on the immigration laws. We did run into a problem, but the blame was to be put ...on the USCIS and not her. She calmed our fears right away and handled that for us in a timely manner. I recommend her every time I meet someone in need of a great Immigration attorney. You might not be amazed by the amount of people working at her office, but her work will more than make up for that. Also, Immigration cases work as fast is the USCIS does, so don't expect overnight results. Our case took over 2 years due to different variables.

Try another lawyer

She was very unprofessional when dealing with us, and charges absurd amounts of money. I regret ever hiring her for the job of representing my wife.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
