William D. Black

In his many years of practice, Mr. Black has processed a great variety of plaintiff''s personal injury cases ranging from fairly simple automobile accident claims to very complicated, more complex and often multiple defendant matters. His diversified experiences have provided him with an excellent background and impressive expertise which allow him to tackle very significant damage cases. He has an excellent network of forensic experts including many board certified physicians.

Mr. Black assists clients in business formation, business transactional law and in business litigations matters. He has been active in the State Bar Business Law Section since 2001, serving as Chair of the Section in 2002 and serving on the Executive Council since that time.

Mr. Black has reviewed thousands of medical malpractice cases and has been involved as counsel or co-counsel on a number of cases which have returned very significant verdicts or settlements.

In the last several years, Mr. Black has assisted a number of clients in a variety of probate litigation disputes. This area of practice has grown rapidly, since an increasing number of heirs and beneficiaries have chosen to dispute the provisions of Wills and Trusts or the administration thereof. This is partly due to the increased life span of many senior citizens.
