Katherine A. O'Connell, a true Arizona native, was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She attended the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, cum laude, and a minor in Communication. During her undergrad schooling, she was involved in a variety of different honoraries. Also during this time she worked for A.G. Edwards, a brokerage house, giving her invaluable insight and first-hand experience into the workings of the financial field.
Katherine earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During this time she volunteered for several programs; Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis in the Tax Program, Central Minnesota Legal Services, Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office, and Community Action Council (in Minnesota). Katherine was also recognized at her graduation for her community service work. Morris, Hall and Kinghorn had the pleasure to employ Katherine as an intern while she attended law school.
Katherine enjoys helping individuals plan not only for their own future, but also for the futures of their families.
