Biography
Garvey Biggers has focused his career upon catastrophic injury claims including brain, spinal cord and amputation cases. He has successfully litigated bad faith, wrongful death, and professional liability cases since 1985.
His jury trials have included complex claims in the areas of: products, premises (including liquor liability and nursing home negligence), medical malpractice, wrongful death, commercial trucking, auto accidents, municipality, construction defect, and negligent security claims.
Mr. Biggers is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Defense Research Institute, Maricopa County Bar Association, and was the 2004 Key Note Speaker for the defense at "Nursing Home Malpractice in Arizona: Successful Case Management from Investigation to Trial." He is also a member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and the Arizona Claims Association.
He has successfully litigated numerous entertainment venue, sports, and related injury claims to a successful conclusion.
While in college, Mr. Biggers was a member of the Northern Arizona University Wrestling Team. He was Vice President of the Associated Students of Northern Arizona and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at the University of Arizona College of Law he was a student leader and graduated in 1984. Since 1985 Mr. Biggers has regularly devoted a significant amount of time to pro bono activities for the indigent. He has lived in Arizona since 1957.
