My family is the most important in my life. I never thought I would be in a situation of going through a messy divorce involving kids. I had a hard time finding a good and honest family attorney. I hired a Deborah and paid a retainer of $2,500. Thereafter, I paid an additional $1,000. Then a remaining $2000 was paid on May 2014. She knew exactly how much money I had, she knew that I had two young kids. I was supposed to pay monthly or she wouldn't represent me per her contract. I don't believ...e she sent me monthly statements because I would have never continued having her represent me when my bill got up to $8,008.83. On all of her statements it says "payment is due upon receipt. Thank you!" Though she continued to represent me monthly past the bill for $8,008.83. I don't believe that she gave me monthly statements. She did provide me a statement on June 9th which she claims that I requested, I don't believe that I did. That statement was for over $13,000. I immediately dropped her as my lawyer and represented myself for my divorce. I don't recommend her or believe she did a good job as a lawyer.

I found Ms Palomino to be an outstanding representative in court. My hearing was handled very well by Ms Palomino, and I'm very happy I hired her as my Attorney. Debra Palomino eagerly agreed to take my case. After a month of no activity and numerous attempts to get an update...she finally admitted to not having time on her calendar to work on my case. She has refused to return my calls and emails and also failed to return the retainer fees I paid. I am no...w filing a complaint with AZ State Bar. I don't know how this woman can stay in business.
