Rude and incompetent

Kept asking for more. We paid $3,000 for nothing! Our case was dismissed because of lack of paper work. Now Scott has dismissed us. Still has our money though! He is rude and arrogant. Office even misplaced funds we sent. Good we had cancelled checks. Our file papers stated we had only paid him $1...,500. Wheres the rest of the money IRS!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Attorney Ever

Rarely returns calls or emails. When you do finally speak with him, he is rude, deeming, and arrogant. He even raised his voice, actually yelled, at me for not understanding why my lender continued to contact me. Took upfront payments by credit card which is not allowed.Charged another additional fee...s for a modification when he never finished the initial filing. Told me it was so much work. He did not do the work. He did not review the work that his paralegals did either. Now he has been disbarred and I have been summoned to appear before the judge in my case. In my experience he should not have his license reinstated.

After Effects

I met with Scott and was told I'd have an easy Bankruptcy and to the most part I'd say it was easy. The problem is with his lack of communication and answering/returning calls. I hired Scott and then after that dealt with his staff. The problem I have started after the Bankruptcy was discharged. ...I was taken to court for an unpaid loan which was SPECIFICALLY discussed with Scott in his office. I called several times, left messages and even emailed his office. By the time my calls were returned (4 months passed) I had already been to court and lost my case and then had a judgement set against me and my wages garnished. His response (my paralegal already devoted significant time getting to the bottom of this and it was a loan that obtained subsequent to your filing date) this is absolutely FALSE! Unfortunately for me, I didn't keep the original paperwork as I thought everything was fine once the BK was filed and then discharged. Now fast forward to 2 years after my BK and I just found out the Scott never REAFFIRMED my auto loan, so the payments I've been making for over 3yrs have done nothing to help my credit. Again, we discussed keeping my vehicle because he told me this was the best way to help my credit after a bankruptcy. Take your time hiring an attorney. Meet with several and don't just hire the first guy you meet like I did. I would not recommend Scott or his office just for the simple fact that once your BK is discharged they don't care about you. They already have your money and there job is done, plus they don't know how to return calls or emails.

Beware! Do not hire this individual!

Do NOT use this office for anything! Once you give him your money, you're finished! Very little communication, he missed important deadlines, and he filed incomplete documents with the court causing me much trouble and time off of work to fix his errors. In fact, after correcting several of his mista...kes and listening to him tell me that he has no respect for bankruptcy filers, I fired him and hired another attorney. His attitude reflects that which clearly shows he has no respect at all for his clients, especially those filing BK. In this very trying time, you will need clear guidance, honesty, and support from your attorney. Scott Forrester does NOT provide any of these things. More trouble will follow if you hire him. Hire someone else. Hire someone else and protect yourself! You are ultimately responsible for the outcome of your BK. Remember that.

Not a word of this is true, but I am sorry that your life is still going so poorly Jane. If anyone is worried about this review, I will happily provide her case number so you can see what actually took place on her case.

Bad advice and did not follow through on violations by creditor.

I hired him to advise and oversee possible bankruptcy.. He asked if I wanted to keep my business. I said emphatically yes. He said file chapter 7 because Chapt. 11 would demand money back and take four years to restructure. I said I wanted to rebuild the business and didn't know why it failed. h...e never said the business I own that is incorporated would be considered an asset to be sold off by the Trustee, or that someone could offer to buy it. That is what happened. Two years later, I have to rebuy the business or have it auctioned off. His response was threatening, totally false and defamatory. He said I was eighty years old, was diagnosed with dementia, all untrue. He called the incorporated business a pyramid scheme I did not own. There is more, but this lawyer badly advised me. I am not blaming him for my bankruptcy. I blame him for his bad advice that cost me and is still not resolved. The pro bono lawyer represented me and said I should never have filed a chapter 7 and withdrew just now because it has taken 2 years though discharged, and he can't work for free anymore though he tried to get me the justice I deserve, but I don't have the funds to rebuy my business. This is not spite, but my honest summary of the consequences of his bad advice. Others have made bad reviews, but they disappeared from his profile. His response to my complaint is false aggressive. I have dementia and am 80 yrs. old, and I don't own the business, that we retained him three years ago. All falsehoods. He responded he would sue me if I don't take down this review. I blame him, not for the personal financial problems for which I hired him, but for telling me to file the wrong bankruptcy, then refusing to advise the court of bad conduct by a creditor who now wants to buy the business from the Trustee, unless I rebuy it from the Trustee.
