where can i start? i have worked with several lawyers in many fields and without a doubt marlene is absolutely fantastic. unfortunately, i experienced a contentious and difficult divorce with a large business and child custody at stake. She is not only bright, experienced and tough when it comes to... the legal aspect but she is extremely compassionate and caring for her clients. many lawyers can perform their professional services well but it is when someone goes above and beyond his or her responsibilities that sets them apart from others. marlene is a perfect example of that person. she understood the emotional component to my divorce and helped me with my anxiety that would arise from the difficulties associated with the process. i can't say enough positive things about marlene. i have had a few friends who unfortunately went through divorce and i can tell you they had completely different experiences with their attorneys. often my friends were frustrated and upset because of availability issues or their attorneys didn't adequately address all of their concerns. with that said, i still stay in contact with marlene because i have so much admiration for her as a person, lawyer and friend. in my most difficult times i knew she was always available.

I have been practicing more than 25 years, and I consider myself a very "tough grader" when it comes to other attorneys, but I gave, and give, Marlene an A+. I have since recommended her to several friends and business associates, and all of them speak highly of her. When I read the negative reviews on this site, my first thought was that they looked like something my ex-wife might write about my attorney, or, frankly, something I might write about my ex-wife's attorney. One of the realities of litigated divorce cases is that each spouse typically ends up hating the other spouse's attorney, and the more effective the attorney was, the greater the hate. All I can conclude is that Marlene must have been amazingly effective in the cases in which this posters were involved. I know she was very effective in mine.
