My practice focuses on trademark law and how businesses and individuals can create and protect their brands. In this capacity, I help clients prepare and prosecute trademarks, enforceme trademarks, and license their marks to maximize value and exposure. I have prepared numerous trademark applications, responded to office actions, and represented clients before the World Intellectual Property Organization. I also have experience assisting clients in the negotiation of contracts and joint venture agreements with other companies to develop technology.
I earned my J.D., cum laude from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2012. While in law school, I was a member of the Arizona State Law Journal and an oralist and brief writer for the Jessup Moot Court team. As a student attorney with the Innovation Advancement Legal Clinic, I counseled clients on the protection of different forms of intellectual property and drafted sales agreements and confidentiality agreements. During and after law school, I worked with the managing intellectual property counsel for a dynamic corporation assisting in the management of a multi-million dollar trademark portfolio.
In my spare time, I am a rhythm engineer (i.e. drummer) in several bands. I am also an active volunteer at Arizona Animal Welfare League, Arizona's largest no kill animal shelter.

Helpful and super easy to work with. Highly recommended
Justin is calm, easy going and super helpful. We worked together on a couple of contracts for my online business. Justin read the documents thoroughly and provided feedback by suggesting items to add to make the contracts air tight. He is reasonably price and I highly recommend him.
