I called Mr. Shoaf for a consultation regarding a dispute with my neighbor. I assumed that I would be charged for the consultation, however, Mr. Shoaf refused. He candidly let me know that my case was simple and that I would likely succeed representing myself based on the information that I provided ...in our phone call. He also informed me that because my case was a small claims court issue, it was not practical nor necessary to hire an attorney. His communication was also sincere, which helped to put me at ease as this has become an extremely stressful dispute with my neighbor. Mr. Shoaf was even reassuring, neither rushing me nor making me feel insignificant compared to more prestigious clientele. I appreciated his time and sincere demeanor and offered to write this review as a token of my gratitude.
