John R Cunningham

I graduated from University of Arizona With High Distinction in 1969, taught junior high school civics for 5 years and then entered Arizona State University's College of Law in 1974, where I graduated, Magna Cum Laude, in May, 1977. Upon graduation and passing the Bar  exam, I embarked in my law practice in October,1977,as a litigation associate with the firm that is today Jennings, Haug & Cunningham,LLP- at that time called Moore & Romley. For the past 25 years I have been the managing partner of the  tort and insurance practice section of that firm. My practice has been focused in tort and insurance areas, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in accident and injury cases, professional liability matters including legal,medical, architects, engineers, accountants,insurance brokers/agents and real estate professionals in malpractice litigation. I have developed expertise in insurance coverage matters and serve as coverage counsel to several major insurance companies. While I thouroughly enjoy the intellectual and adversarial challenges of defense work, I find it most rewarding to successfullyrepresent a deserving plaintiff in achieving a just result for that individual and his or her family. It continues to be an honor and a privilege in working to seek justice for both plaintiffs and defendants as the particular case and retention may dictate.
