I was referred by a coworker who spoke so highly of Holly. In retaining her, I experienced lack of preparedness, communication and organization. It wasn’t until after numerous threats to terminate her as my counsel that she finally began to “work.” I’ve gone through a lot financially due to my separa...tion from my STBX and she couldn’t care less as she was financially draining just as much, if not more than he was. She is absolutely horrible and lacks professionalism, tact, and a sense of compassion with clients. To have spent $2200 out of a $5000 retainer, she’s lazy and incompetent. She doesn’t communicate effectively and only does so through email in order to nickel and dime you for things you’ve already provided to her in a previous consultation via phone.

She came highly recommended by another attorney. I was prompted to seek her out because she was a member of the “Modest Mean” program for women. I should have dropped her immediately after I hired her. My consultation was a 2.5 hour meeting where she listen some but did most of the talking. She is v...ery talkative about matters that don’t pertain to your case while she charges you on the back end. After she was made aware of the opposing counsel’s name, her exact words “Oh, I’ve never worked with him before; I’m looking forward to developing a working relationship with him”. I should have fired her then; she sold me down the river in my divorce. I repeatedly asked her to file for spousal maintenance during the process prior to the divorce, she would not do it. I asked her to file for contempt when my ex refused to keep the existing bills paid prior to the divorce, she would not do it. The opposing counsel switch the original Judge for my case and I told Holly to switch it back. She would not do it even though I was the one who filed for divorced. Her exact words “Oh it doesn’t make any difference which Judge hear your case” that is a bold face lie. It makes a BIG difference. Her continued advice to me was that I would have plenty of money once the divorce was final and I could buy a condo and live in it and be well off. Prior to my divorce, the ex and I were worth over 1 million in assets. Once the divorce was final, I walked away with no spousal maintenance, no medical support (ended up on AHCCCS), lost 3 homes, and only received half of the ex’s retirement. The cash I received was burned through with excessive billing charges. I came out batter by lazy/sloppy attorney work, her siding with opposing counsel throughout the process, a lack of attorney client confidentially, $10k bill for 1 year of service and no condo. Beware!

Horrible horrible experience with this attorney! She came highly recommended by several resources which is what prompted me to seek out her services for my high conflict custody battle. I should have realized it was a mistake to hire her when our consultations turned into state history lessons or her... attempting to 'educate' me on why I should join the Democratic Party (and charged me for this unsolicited advice of course). What made me decide to fire her was her suggestion to take my then boyfriend now husband 'for everything he's got then drop him like a bad habit'. I kid you not, these were her exact words.
