Erin Kaitlin Sweeney

I represent clients across Arizona in criminal defense, post-conviction relief, and civil litigation. My work focuses on helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives, whether they are fighting a conviction, facing criminal charges, or challenging unconstitutional laws and prison conditions.

I handle cases in both state and federal court in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. I also represent clients in civil litigation, including breach of contract, tort, and personal injury matters, as well as business purchase agreements and contract disputes.

I earned my law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where I served on the Moot Court Board and represented clients through the Public Defender Clinic. Before that, I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, where I co-founded the UGA Defender Advocate Society to help students facing university disciplinary proceedings.

Outside of work, I volunteer with Maricopa County Animal Care & Control and spend my free time with my two rescue dogs, Aspen and Aurora.
