Brad is a shareholder and former director of The Cavanagh Law Firm, P.A. He is a seasoned trial lawyer with 30 years of diverse experience in civil litigation, including numerous jury trials in state and federal court. His trial experience includes matters involving product liability, construction/indemnity, insurance coverage and bad faith, breach of contract/fiduciary duty, personal injury, and prescriptive easement/quiet title issues.

Brad graduated from Brigham Young University, magna cum laude, in 1991. He is a 1994 graduate of Cornell Law School, where he served as Articles Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. He served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Patrick Monserrate, Supreme Court of New York. Brad is admitted to practice in Arizona state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He serves as a Maricopa County Superior Court Pro Tempore. Brad is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, Trial Attorneys of America, Defense Research Institute, and Arizona Association of Defense Counsel. He is a former president of the Maricopa County Bar Construction Law Section.
Brad served for over twenty years as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America, including more than ten years as a Unit Commissioner in the San Tan District, Grand Canyon Council. He also served as a member of the Town of Gilbert’s Substance Abuse and Mental Health Task Force and the East Valley Behavioral Health Coalition.
Brad and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of six adult children who add much value to society.
