Questionable

Me. Brown took my case and pretended to be interested. Although I appreciate his honesty with how serious and bad my case was, I did not appreciate the fact that his attitude towards me was just another guilty client trying to scheme the system. I feel like I got blown off because Mr. Brown was in co...nsideration for becoming a judge so his clients took a back seat to his own interests. I feel my case was (and is still) being dragged out. He didn’t ask if I had any questions or preference or anything about who and where he sent me with my dui defense. His concern is only himself and now to think that this guy is a judge. I am worried for those who step foot in his courtroom… will they receive just the minimum because his foot is half in the door? The man has no genuine interest in his clients. Each and every move he makes is simply to better himself, which to an extent I can understand, but at what cost? The cost of someone ruining their life? If you get the “Honorable Jay Brown” please be careful and watch your step with this guy.

I appreciated this individual acknowledge my honesty on their case and I’m sorry this anonymous person feels unappreciated, but at times my conversations are direct and to the point so there is no misunderstanding about the seriousness of their situation. If this was because of their belief that I was in consideration to be a judge and then became a judge, this anonymous person has inaccurate information. Thus, the allegations are misleading and if this anonymous person gives me permission by waiving their attorney-client privilege, I could explain, until then, my legal and ethical duties prevent me from responding in detail.

Public Pretender - Arizona Courts have them ALL

My PD, drug out two misdemeanor cases over one year resulting in TRIALS. Then, after reflecting on the devastating results this had and will always have on my life I realized the judges changed several times, I tried to fire him FOR CONFLICT OF INTEREST but that didn't work out because of the Judge ...CHANGES. Then, he didn't show up for my sentencing after the Judge took EIGHT WEEKS TO DECIDE.

I’m sorry this anonymous person did not like our interaction on their multiple cases, but sometime when people have more than one case going to trial, there are legal reason the process is not quick as people like. Now, people are always able to fire a lawyer and even represent themselves. Finally, professional obligations do not allow me to respond as I would wish, however, if this anonymous person gives me permission by waiving their attorney-client privilege, I could explain what happened and why.

Honest & Tireless Defender.
