Nice footwork Counselor

I was fortunate enough to find Michael Branum when facing one of the most stressful situations I have ever had to encounter. After spending most of my adult life running into burning buildings or keeping people alive in the back of ambulances, I went to law school. I have lived and worked in North Carolina, Arizona, Colorado, Alaska, Nevada, and now I have settled into the beautiful red rock surroundings of southwest Utah - Utah's "Dixie."

With over fifteen years of nursing experience on top of my career in emergency medicine, I have the background to understand the medical aspects of personal injury cases and to assist veterans in making compelling cases for the grant of benefits they deserve.

I am licensed in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. I practice in Mohave County in Arizona, Clark County (primarily Mesquite Justice and Municipal Courts) in Nevada, and the courts of southern Utah. I focus primarily on criminal and family law cases and assisting disabled veterans with their battle for benefits with the VA. I will consult on other civil matters and provide referrals if I do not believe I am the right attorney for your case.

Excellent to work with

After meeting with Mike I was confident he would be focused on my best interests. His counsel and knowledge of the law and justice system prepared me well for my day in court. I am completely satisfied with Mike's work and the courts ruling.

Named cleared

I had false criminal complaints filed against me at the County Attorney's office. Mike assisted in defending against these claims by helping me organize my documents and helping me write a affidavit. Mike took care of summitting my documents to the County. I never even had to meet with the County. Mike worked fast and efficiently and clear my name.

1st class, professionally and personally!

Found myself in a very unexpected and unjustified situation with an overzealous law enforcement officer. Having never dealt with a situation like this, I was fortunate to find Michael while searching for guidance. He demonstrated genuine empathy at our initial consultation in addition to reassuring me that he possessed the ability to help us resolve a matter that should not have existed in the first place. He delivered! The matter was dismissed as expediently as the system allows, which is to say slower than I would have liked, but Michael moved things along as quickly as possible. In every regard he was wonderful to work with and I consider him a trusted resource that I would use and recommend. Michael possesses a genuine decency not easily found in any industry let alone this one. Thanks Mike!

Great Attorney

Michael helped me with a no contact order and was able to arrange getting my belongings back as well. I’ve used another attorney in their office and was referred to Michael by him. He was so kind, he understood how sensitive the situation surrounding the need for a no contact order was and was so helpful. He was able to get my things, get the order in place and did it quickly and efficiently. It was so nice to have someone deal with these matters for me and take the stress off of myself. I would highly recommend him or any other attorney in their office as well.

Great expert in your corner!

Mike was always available when I needed him, he kept me well informed, he was outstanding in fighting an erroneous TPO, his hourly rate was very reasonable. Mike left me feeling confident every time we spoke; I live 300 miles away, but that was never a problem. He did what he said he’d do, when he said he’d do it, what more do you need? I’d hire him again in a second. Outstanding attorney!

I was so pleased with the work he did for me.

I presented a situation that had a few unusual twists and turns. Not only did Mr. Branum work through them, he did a good deal of behind the scenes work to dig for answers to the situation to be sure we navigated those twists and turns optimally. He is helpful, personable, and diligent. I was very pleased with the work he did for me.
