When I first called to schedule an appointment for a consultation, his secretary put me right on the phone with him. Jake spoke with me for about a half hour. He asked what I was dealing with and he gave me many options as to how I could proceed...giving me time to think about it before my actual c...onsultation. Jake made me feel that I had someone who what battle for me if it came to it but would ultimately let me proceed with my divorce in the way I wanted. I had called a few other places and it just didn't feel right. When Jake was referred to me by a friend with her beaming remarks, I felt better. Lawyers get a bad reputation, but Jake did not fit those stereotypes. He is honest and truly represents his client's best interest. His office staff is also incredible. In my experience being represented by Jake, he was very informative, quick to respond to questions and overall friendly and easy to communicate with. I felt he was able to not only give the best advice on the chain of events he would recommend, but also easily made adjustments to fit my financial li...mitations. I felt he was fair and objective.
