My husband is a federal employee who works for the Department of Defense. Our divorce is amicable and our family law attorney referred us to a QDRO specialist who wanted to charge us $1200 each for his FERS and Thrift Savings Plan COAPs. I must say that he is an outstanding value and a joy to work with. He promptly replied to our emails and picked up the phone himself when we called. He was fast too!
