Attorney Eliza Van Orman was admitted to practice law in the State of Utah in 2009 and has been practicing almost exclusively in the area of family law ever since. She earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees and a law degree from the University of Utah. During law school Eliza completed an internship with the Office of the Guardian ad Litem, representing abused and neglected children, and earned honors for pro bono work in free legal clinics.
After law school Eliza was awarded a Dean’s fellowship and worked for two small Utah firms before accepting aposition with Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake, where she represented low-income clients in divorce and custody cases. She joins the Burton Law Firm team with extensive experience and knowledge that helps her excel at domestic cases. She has a passion for helping clients which shows clearly in her work.
When not working, Eliza loves spending time outdoors hiking, camping, backpacking, and skiing. She also loves reading fiction and spending time with family.
