A very intelligent attorney and consultant

I hired this attorney to help me with bankruptcy paperwork. He gave me good advice and in less than three years my Chapter 13 was discharged last September, 2014. Follow exactly what he asks you to do and you'll be fine. I am now getting my credit back. Don't reaffirm your mortgage as the bank will... then be able to enforce the original terms of your mortgage, just keep making your mortgage or second mortgage (if you have a second) payments. Ask the lender to give you a report on your payments to disclose your payment history and supply the report to your refinance lender when you are ready.

very helpful

My husband and I were desperate and in need of help fast. The firm helped us step by step and it was fast and we are now better at paying bills and have kept current for the last 3 years. Sometimes you get into a bind and need help.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2005.

Suspension issued in UT, 2005

updated on 03/16/2012

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Public Reprimand issued in UT, 2003

updated on 03/16/2012

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Stayed Suspension issued in UT, 2001

updated on 03/16/2012

Stayed suspension means the attorney has been disciplined, but that the suspension is placed on hold (and ultimately removed) if the attorney complies with certain requirements.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2005
Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
