I have been practicing law since May, 2012 and have practiced in a variety of areas, with an emphasis on domestic litigation, employment law, and immigration. I have also worked in estate planning, administrative law, federal and state workers compensation, bankruptcy, Social Security, and personal injury. I have experience in both the Utah Court of Appeals and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah. Before joining Kaufman Nichols Olds & Kaufman in March 2015, I was an associate attorney at Stevenson & Smith, P.C., located in South Ogden.
I graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law one semester early in December 2011. While attending law school, I was a law clerk at the Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska Immigration Program, where I gained a wealth of knowledge in immigration law. I was also a participant in a senior seminar which focused on refugee and asylum law. During my third year of law school, I worked as a student attorney at the University of Nebraska’s civil legal clinic where I handled cases in the areas of domestic law, bankruptcy, contract law, and property law.
Before law school, I attended Weber State University, where I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English. I worked in technical writing, editing, and graphic design for five years after college, while also working as a sports correspondent for the Ogden Standard-Examiner.
As an Ogden native, I enjoy skiing and snowboarding, as well as watching college football and basketball. I play the piano, enjoy reading, and love spending time with my nephews.

Fake lawyer
This man is quite the scammer. If you disagree with him, he uses aggressive threats and harassment. He's a plague to his community. Simply do not engage. It's questionable if he's even a real lawyer.

Timely results for a reasonable price.
He gave me the results I was looking for and was easy to work with. The settlement turned out even better than expected. I will definitely be using his services in the future.

How often do lawyers quit clients? In general, or sharing personal quite rates over a career or years experience?
