Edward J. Stone

Edward Stone did a great job at preparing me for court. He took me step by step through what the process might be for my arraignment. Though we only spoke during a small amount of time, Stone made me feel confident and ready. I can tell he has a large amount of knowledge and I thank him for the servi...ce he provided me.

Edward was absolutely the best. He made sure to explain everything that was going on to everybody not just the one he was defending. He was teaching the law to the crooked small town judges and prosecutors who weren’t following the law, and he is by far the best defense attorney in Utah. He was very ...affordable over the 3 years that he was representing us. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

I describe my experience with Edward from beginning to end as a Blessing! Edward sent a flier when my husband was falsely accused and charged with crimes he did not commit. Not knowing what to do Edward took our call on a Sunday morning and after consultation he was immediately hired. Edward is... very educated in the law and is very straight forward, if Edward gives you his word you can absolutely count on it. He also had to teach the Judge and the prosecution side several laws that they had conveniently forgot in the middle of trial. Edward always knew what was in our best interest and my husband and I fully trusted him. We received "Not Guilty" verdicts and I know in my heart that it would have been impossible without Edward. This guy knows his stuff. He took apart a traffic stop that resulted in the discovery of a large amount of drugs I supposedly had and systematically dismantled the state's case on a motion to suppress. I never saw trial because the evidence was suppressed and the case was dismissed. Thanks Edward!...!!!!!!

Utah County charged me with misdemeanor assault on a golf course. Ed Stone and his associates handled things well leading up to a jury trial. At the jury trial, Ed rose to the occasion and clearly seemed comfortable and in command of everything happening, this made me feel very comfortable. It was ...obvious his courtroom and legal skills exceeded the two assistant DA's assigned to prosecute me. The end result was a not guilty verdict which came back in 45 minutes. I would not hesitate to hire or recommend Ed Stone for anyone. In addition, he's friendly, personable and listened to my observations and comments. On a funny note, my son who was a witness for my defense....said...he liked Ed so much, he almost wanted to go out and commit a crime just so he could spend the day with Ed!
