Retain at your own risk

I hired him in November 2018 To get some clarity on some divorce decree issues. He bid the case at under $2500 and estimated it would take 2 or 3 months. 15 months later and after nearly $10K I fired him. Thru this process he was was unable or unwilling to have things happen that he promised. His ...billing was random in timing. I handled the case pro se and had it settled in 6-7 months. I would never hire him again. Complete waste of money and would not recommend him to anyone. Completely dissatisfied client

I’m sorry you had this experience. The fees quoted you were an estimate and were always dependent on how much the other side fights and if mediation or settlement talks fail, making the legal fees and costs more as the case takes longer to go to court to resolve. I know that was explained to you. At any rate, I’m more than happy to talk to you more about it. Thank you.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
