I hired him, because I’ve worked with him before in the past. This time he did not answer me for a month on calls, texts or emails. I asked for my retainer fee back and luckily I did get it back, Or I would have filed a letter which I already had in an envelope. He said there were things that came up... and was issues. But yeah I saw on Facebook he had a new girlfriend.

He was great at first, and a very nice man. Unfortunately, he has health issues and won't return calls, file paperwork, etc.. He charged me for a month that he was too sick to represent me?! He failed to file the paperwork or do anything, but charged me anyway. I do feel bad for his health conditions..., however, I shouldn't be charged when he was too sick to do anything. Would not recommend at this point.

Consulted, hired taggart for my custody case. He is a terrible lawyer. Should not be practicing. Uses excuses not to communicate with me. Slow in filing motions. Did absolutely nothing to help me. Would not return my calls or emails. Do not waste your time with this guy. Hire a more expensive lawyer... that will actually work for you. He just doesn't care for his client or their situation. Makes excuses not to get back with me. Terrible attorney. Don't waste your time with him.

I Hired Mr. Taggart 7-3-2018, I paid the $1,000 Retainer Deposit 7-5-2018, I turned in the packet & paper work 7-6-2018, after that I tried to reach MR. Taggart and He said he wasn't available, He'd get back to me, he was in the hospital then the morning of the court date we would have to appear in c...ourt to agree that there wouldn't be any alimony awarded & he would reschedule the child custody for another day because Mr. Taggart Didn't have my Financial Declaration ready. Mr. Taggart appeared in court with me on July 19th, 2018 which he told me it’s was only for Alimony but little did I know that is was also in reguards to custody of my children. After this court date My Taggart wouldn’t answer my calls, text messages, email. later he sent me a text message stating that he was ill & could no longer represent my case & offered to send my retainer fee back. I hired a new lawyer on August 23rd & that’s when I found out that Mr. Taggart had filed ZERO documents on my behalf nor argue my case even though I left several documents with him & then comes the most devastating news that my new lawyer advised me of.. well because of this huge mistake I lost 50% custody of my children to my soon to be Ex that has a extensive criminal history, drug & alcohol use! Now 7 months later & serveral thousands of dollars later I’m still trying to reverse the damage that was done & trying to get my children back. Very unprofessional & I won’t not recommend anyone to him. Me & my children have suffered so much just because of the carelessness of one attorney.
