Not a good lawyer at all

I hired Mr. Loayza about 8 years ago for a domestic case in an administrative court, he charged me $1000 which I pay in full and every time that I went to his office to talk about the case he asked me if I already pay him or not, good things that I kept all my receipts with. The last day of my court... where I was pretty much gonna be free of any charge he just told me that he won't be there and since it was just an administrative court he doesn't need to be there but he will send another guy, a paralegal assumed, the guy show up late after we were done and wearing jeans and a T-shirt like he was going to visit a park, up to the point that the prosecutor asked me who was him?,
