Highly recommend

I recently worked with Sarah Orme with a property that I use to own. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and skilled attorney. She listened to what I wanted to have happen and helped me do the best to make it happen. When what I wanted didn’t work (which is not Sarah Orme fault, it was my fault for ...waiting so long to take action) she let me know the best course of action to take for my situation. When I would ask her for her option on the best things to do, she helped me through the entire process. When I ask her to do something in my case. She let me know of a better way to get the result that I wanted. She told me in the end she will do what I want, but she would advise something else. I would highly recommend her for anyone. She is very helpful and made everything easy for me to understand.

Highly recommend

I was Assistant Professor of the University, and the most of my time was occupied by research, teaching, and the University service. I had a project to build a retaining wall in the backyard. Unfortunately, due to my lack of attention to the details, my contractor mis-interpreted the property line wi...th the involvement of the neighbor, and created a dispute with the neighbor. My friend referred me to work with Sarah. Sarah understood the law well and was very helpful. She cared about the concerns I had and helped me steer the case to the right direction. Her job made my life easier. My assessment is that Sarah is a knowledgeable, caring, and skilled attorney, and I highly recommend her.

Highly recommend

I’ve worked with Sarah twice. The first time was in 2013 when a friend (who is a secretary at a different law firm) referred me to her. Sarah did an excellent job and so I asked her help again in 2016. Sarah handled both cases effectively and was compassionate. She listened to my concerns, helped me ...understand my cases and my options, and helped steer me in the right direction. She was thorough and raised issues I hadn't thought of. Sarah is very knowledgeable, skilled and supportive. I highly recommend her services.

Inexperienced

I dismissed Attorney Orme as my counsel one business day after she was retained. The reason? Inexperience, and her evident and expressed lack of understanding of the law associated with the matter at hand. Attorney Orme's representation of me resulted in a fee dispute which has lasted longer than thr...ee months.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I was opposite Sarah on a large case (many years, lots of plaintiffs/defendants, big scope) and was impressed by her ability, tenacity, success with her clients, creativity and also her professionalism. She's talented and dedicated. I look forward to the challenge of litigating with her again, but I'll need to rally as I know she will represent and fight for her clients to the fullest extent possible."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
