About me

Rachel Anderson's practice focuses on natural resources transactions and litigation and Utah local district and special service district law, as well as the general areas of real property and contract law. Her natural resources practice specifically focuses on the areas of water, environmental, mining, and oil and gas law. Her experience includes working on water rights conveyances, CERCLA issues, and public land issues. Rachel's representation of local and special service districts has given her a wide range of experience including contract review, employment law advice, and interlocal cooperation agreements. Rachel is also able to team with other Fabian attorneys with expertise in the firm's core competency areas to handle complex litigation issues. She is admitted to practice in Utah's state and federal courts, and has successfully argued a case before the Utah Court of Appeals. Rachel holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Water Resources Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources. Rachel graduated from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law with high honors after working as executive editor of the Utah Law Review.
