Biography
I have been licensed to practice law in Utah and Idaho for 18 years. I work in a small law firm staffed with some of my closest friends. We enjoy our work, care about our clients and have fun supporting each other and discussing our cases. Most clients need a fast, effective, economical result. However, we at Hobbs & Olson also relish the opportunity to go to trial. My last jury trial was February 4, 2011.
Lincoln W. Hobbs and I have practiced law together continuously since 1997. Our professional working relationship is strong, symbiotic and enduring. My secretary, Kris Gines, and I have worked together off and on since 1993 and continuously since 1998.
I specialize in criminal defense, with a broadening practice in White Collar Crime. I have a 20 year long working relationship with Salt Lake City attorney Daniel W. Jackson, a securities lawyer with 35 years experience in securities regulation, compliance and transactions. Recently, we have teamed up to provide a unique and formidable practice pair in the area of White Collar Crime.
