Mr Lewis hired for divorce case that was heading for trial though I must say he's personable and his ability in court was fine the hard part is as he said to the judge he would write a ruling agreed to do that but did not henceforth the case was put on notice for possible sanctions and dismissal unle...ss the writing was submitted another person from the law office wrote the order and submitted it but only after a large fee once again to do that paperwork then a year later get notice from the judge he's going to dismiss the case for lack of prosecution and neither attorney or law firm or judge declared who would write the final divorce decree and now I'm in a quandary not knowing which direction to go to protect myself I feel like I was left high and dry. Importantly I wasn't informed he leaving the firm and the firm didn't notify me either.

My divorce was amicable and set up to be pretty cut and dry. I was debating attempting to file myself, but I consulted with JD Lewis to answer some specific questions. When I realized that there were some things that were likely to be missed in the agreements, I decided it would be simpler to save my...self the time and stress and had JD represent me. He still kept everything simple and easy while ensuring I was protected, which kept it as painless as it possibly could be for my ex and me. When I brought up concerns about custody, he made it known that he would be up to the task if things were contested and I trusted his ability to protect me, but he did not push to do so, which I respected. Everything was completed quickly and things are still amicable with my ex, which I attribute to how JD handled it. 10/10, would get divorced with JD again. (But hopefully not)
