After hiring and paying Greg from home equity he was hard to contact and when he made jail visits never brought a notepad. I eventually went pro se and he was assigned as Standby (his wife makes these assignments for the court). When testifying he was to direct "my questions" to me to answer. He ...didn't ask me a single question of about 18-20 so no defense testimony or evidence was entered! He works for the Prosecutors, NOT you! Be cautious if you need legal services...

We retained Skordas for a federal case. He talked the talk when we were reviewing the details. Felt very confident heading into the first court visits. It was until we were sitting there in court, expecting him to show up and follow the game plan he come up with. Did he show? Nope. One of his underli...ngs shows up, has no idea what we have discussed or how we would like to proceed, looked like a fool in front of the judge, even to the point of the judge pointing out the lack of preparation. From there on out we co rubies to get the cold shoulder from Skordas saying “it’s just part of the process” or “I’m handling it, working some back channels”. We fired him after he pulled the same stunt a second time after promising he would be attending the court hearing. Worst money ever spent. Skordas the snake. Beware, he’ll do a great job of reeling you in to believing he can help and is the perfect man for the job. Unless your case is high profile enough and he’ll get some camera time or an interview from it, expect to not see him after payment is made.

I consulted then hired Mr. Skordas to defend my husband on 2 criminal cases. After failing to show up to the first court date I fired him and found a new lawyer. My dealings with Mr. Skordas left me with the impression that he didn't like to be bothered by his clients and I felt he was annoyed by my... questions and need to be informed. He did refund the money I paid to him in a timely manner. I found his demeanor to be abrasive and harsh.

He did want he wanted to do, rather it hurt your case. He showed up to one court date, other ones he sent someone else from the firm to represent me. I was never told anything that was going to happen. I ended up firing him and going to a different firm. I had so much faith in him and he let me do...wn. This was my first offense and he wasn't there for me.
