Dara R. Cohen

We cannot recommend Dara enough. She recently addressed a family matter for us with such care and competency. Being 1800 miles away on the east coast made the circumstances even more challenging. Her clarity of communication, subject matter expertise and warmth instilled such a sense of confidence.... Dara made an emotionally-fraught process almost fun!

My death is now neatly organized, thanks to Dara Cohen! She went the extra mile to locate all my assets, change beneficiaries on old policies, and put everything in a nice organized trust, which she delivered to my home, as she does house calls! I had a couple of other attorneys review Dara's work,... as I know nothing about this field and they both agreed she had done an excellent job. One of them hired her, and I am betting the other one will too. Dara is efficient in her work and communicates promptly. I noticed her participation in a high profile case in the news recently and was so impressed by the maturity and discretion she used. It was an opportunity wherein lesser attorneys would have exploited the situation to get some press coverage. Not Dara. The client's best interest was for her to keep a low profile, and treat everyone with courtesy and respect. That is just what she did. I recommend her highly!

After having our first child, we knew there was some legal stuff we needed to put in place, but honestly weren't exactly sure what it was, or how to get started. Dara was recommended by a friend, so we thought we would at least speak with her as a starting point. She did an absolutely fantastic j...ob of first listening to us, asking some clarifying questions, and then very clearly explaining both what our options were as well as her recommendations for our specific set of circumstances. Our initial consultation was done over the phone, and within a week she was sitting in our living room with all the completed documents. She again explained everything page by page, and all we needed to do at that point was sign. Essentially she took what we thought would be a long, complicated, confusing, and overwhelming process and made it quicky, easy, and educational. She's been very fast to respond to a few follow up questions we've had. We will definitely continue to use Dara Cohen for our future needs.
