Gregory B. Smith has gotten amazing results for people for twenty years. He's not only a highly skilled legal bulldog, but a compassionate person, too. He's a "lawyer's lawyer," too. He's put on seminars for other attorneys, and has personally trained about a dozen young criminal defense attorneys, so the legal community as a whole has greatly benefitted from his skill and knowledge. He has also authored and self-published various e-books, and written many articles. His legal insights have landed him on Good Morning America twice, and his editorials on sundry matters have been published in newspapers around the country. Most importantly, he can talk to you today. In fact, you can him now at, his personal cell phone. Clients are constantly amazed that he answers all of his calls every day.
His initial training was actually in prosecutor work about twenty years ago. Here is what his former boss, D. Davis, former lead prosecutor, said of him: [Greg Smith] assisted me in Court, with the prosecution work we did as City Attorneys for the City of Mission, Texas. The cases involved traffic violations, assaults, thefts. [He] also assisted in court appearances. [He] gained considerable experience in procedure and working with law enforcement officers, methods of presenting evidence, including direct and cross-examination of witnesses, and above all, comprehensive preparation of cases for trial."
In other words, not only does Mr. Smith understand how to defend your or your loved one, he knows how prosecutors think, too.

My Highest Recommendation
Greg Smith has represented me very well. When I met with Mr. Smith, I was depressed about my circumstances. I felt powerless to stand up to the other party in my case. Mr. Smith cared about me as a person. He reviewed my situation and he reassured me that I had options I had not yet considered, an...

I hired Greg Smith and his firm to represent me in a legal matter. Reading his online profile it seemed a reasonable decision based on the published reviews. During my representation by Greg Smith I experienced being belittled, vulgarly attacked, unprofessional representation, just to name a few conc...
We wish the best for this person. However, notice he failed to state 1) what he paid, 2) what his legal problem was, 3) how it was resolved, and 4) what better result he thinks he should have received. We are not going to go tit for tat with him, and again, we wish him the best. In every case we take, we do our best, but at times we fall short (and deserve some of the criticism we get, as is true of any business); however, we think this particular person is 100% unjustified in his 1-star attack. He also fails to state how many times we met, how many times we spoke on the phone, texted and emailed each other. I cannot and will not comment more about this. But, please, keep in mind, he has left out a TON of information. Again, we wish him the best.

Poor Service
I hired Greg and his firm for a possession charge. I explained to him it was not my first and I was terrified of having to go through same treatment and consequences. He assured me that would not be the case and that is why he was there. He did state he wasn't sure what the outcome would be but we wo...
We wish this client the very best. It is our policy to answer every call and email every day. I am glad he speaks so highly of Jordan. Jordan is first class, and I think this client got an excellent result. Frankly, I think the 1 star review is unwarranted.

You don't get what you pay...
Very disappointed in the job done by Mr. Smith and another of his working attorneys. I was promised a fair case, information and a fair representation of which I received non from Mr. Smith or Edwards. Never felt informed and the deal received was just as good as keeping the original charge. Never re...

"Reasonable and genuinely cares for his client's case and outcome. Knowledgeable and good to work with."
"I endorse this lawyer. Greg was great to work with. He was very reasonable, professional, and responsive. I look forward to working with him in the future."
"I endorse this lawyer. Greg Smith has an amazing legal mind and ability to apply legal information to an array of situations. I am honored to work with Greg Smith and see his exceptional legal skills in the courtroom and with clients. I would highly recommend Greg Smith as an attorney."
"Greg is a fearless advocate, and he knows how to help his clients. He's also civil and willing to do what it takes to resolve a case."
"Greg hired me to work for him a week before I was sworn in as a lawyer. I spent 18 months working at his firm. It was so easy to see when I was working for him, and it is absolutely still true today: Greg has such a big heart. He is willing to take on cases that a lot of lawyers will not touch. His desire is to help everyone that comes into his office."
"I endorse this lawyer. Greg is a very unique lawyer. He is a fierce advocate, who fights to get you the best result possible, without charging you for every billable hour possible. He is, probably, overly fair in his pricing, and very easy to work with concerning payments."
"I endorse this lawyer. Greg always puts the client first and is willing to do whatever it takes to make his client happy. He is always working for his clients and even when he's not working, he is still thinking about his clients. Greg as taught me so much and any client or attorney would be lucky to know him and have him on your case!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Greg has successfully handled more criminal cases than any other attorney I know. Experience counts and Greg has see it all. Even if you already have an attorney it may be worth your time to get a second opinion from Greg. Additionally, I don't know any other attorney that does what Greg does; he makes big cases affordable by allowing reasonable payments and not overcharging. He takes clients that other attorneys will not touch. Before you hire an attorney give him a call."
