Effective Legal Counsel

I recently found myself facing criminal charges brought on by a rather brief string of poor decision making on my part. After searching through various legal sites and reviewing offers from several lawyers, I opted to meet with and employ Greg Smith. Due to my own inexperience in legal matters, ...I had to rely pretty heavily on Greg and his associates to aid me in getting through the process, but they were well prepared and made the process simple. The lawyer Greg had appointed me to work with, Aaron, arrived and was exceptionally prepared and was able to meet with the prosecutor and judge in an extremely efficient manner. Ultimately, I was able to get a very good resolution to my case, with the lawyer Greg had appointed to my case helping me to reach the best deal possible with the prosecutor, getting most of the charges dropped and preventing any of them from appearing on my record. Its important to note that Greg is often very busy, but always makes time to reach out to his clients as long as you give him a reasonable timeframe to work with. Would definitely use his services again if necessary!

Guidence on contract

So glad I got this issue resolved. Thanks to Greg's research. Found out he was top 10 percent in his law school class in first block contract law. I'll use him for any future business or contract needs. He charged me next to nothing.

Disappointing

I choose Greg over several, more qualified attorney's because of Greg's initial enthusiasm and excitement for the case. That soon faded after a few months, as disappointment set in over Greg's handling of my case and his lack of experience. He claimed that it was health issues, but I knew better.

I wish this client the best. Truth be told, we withdrew from his case (he did NOT fire us). We feel this review is terribly unfair (I worked very hard on this case). Sometimes, we just have to let a case go. Again, we wish him the best.

"Greg hired me to work for him a week before I was sworn in as a lawyer. I spent 18 months working at his firm. It was so easy to see when I was working for him, and it is absolutely still true today: Greg has such a big heart. He is willing to take on cases that a lot of lawyers will not touch. His desire is to help everyone that comes into his office."

"I endorse this lawyer. Greg is a very unique lawyer. He is a fierce advocate, who fights to get you the best result possible, without charging you for every billable hour possible. He is, probably, overly fair in his pricing, and very easy to work with concerning payments."

He is always working for his clients and even when he's not working, he is still thinking about his clients. Greg as taught me so much and any client or attorney would be lucky to know him and have him on your case!"

"I endorse this lawyer. Greg has successfully handled more criminal cases than any other attorney I know. Experience counts and Greg has see it all. Even if you already have an attorney it may be worth your time to get a second opinion from Greg. Additionally, I don't know any other attorney that does what Greg does; he makes big cases affordable by allowing reasonable payments and not overcharging. He takes clients that other attorneys will not touch. Before you hire an attorney give him a call."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
