Not your best pick

Mike charged my close to $8,000 for a child custody case. When I finally moved on to another lawyer he withdrew from the case assuring me that it would not undo the work that was already in place. This was not true and I had to go back to square one. He created a terrible mess for me that cost anothe...r $5000 to clean up. At least that $5000 included finalizing my custody case.

Hire Mike

I hired Mike Otto to defend me in a construction fraud case. The plaintiffs filed there motion for summary judgment for fraud before I hired Mike. He not only got the judge to deny that motion. He filed a counter motion for summary judgment that was GRANTED. The thing I think I'll always remember... most is that Mike was not at all surprised when the judge granted our motion. He really did expect to win the whole time because he was so confident he was right. I had been defending a $480,000 fraud case for six years. Now it's over and it took Mike about three months and $5,000 bucks to do it. I still can't believe it.

Mike's the Man!

I hired Mike to represent me in a paternity case. I'm a simple guy. No education past high school. Not much money. I was afraid going in because men usually lose custody battles, especially in Utah. Mike told me the first time we talked that everything would be fine. He said a few incidents inv...olving my ex would make it difficult for her to be custodial parent. She had taken our boy, seven years old, to live with her in her parents' house. Mike advised me to keep my boy after my ex brought him back for Father's Day based on those incodents. He filed a motion for temporary custody. We won. I still can't believe it. We won because Mike and I worked out a plan that we followed. He never wavered. He always told me it was about my boy and me and that I would be his Dad for a long time, so it was all worth it. He made me realize that I needed to protect my won from my ex. Later at mediation my ex knuckled under. I am now the primary custodial parent. Mike did it in three months for three thousand dollars. This was my second custody matter. My first was a helluva lot more expensive, took a lot longer, and did not resolve in my favor. Different ex, different facts. If you want a lawyer who will be your corner man and support you, hire Mike.
