Biography
Gregory Ferbrache was appointed by the Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes to serve as Division Director of the Justice Division for the Utah Attorney General’s Office. Supervising five criminal prosecution sections with over 30 attorneys, prosecuting cases from:
the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC)
Statewide Enforcement of Crimes Against Undocumented Residents Strike Force (SECURE)
Human Trafficking Unit, and High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA), among others.
Greg also supervised cases involving:
Officer Involved Critical Incidents
Political Corruption
Aggravated Homicide
Aggravated Felonies
Fraud
Sexual Assault
Child Abuse
Asset Forfeiture
Multi-jurisdictional serious felony criminal enterprises.
Practicing law in most courthouses throughout Utah at the local, state, and federal levels.
As Director and designee of Attorney General Reyes, Greg worked closely with other Executive Branch stakeholders, Legislators, and the Judiciary to get the job done. Over the past five years, Greg assisted Legislators to better clarify statutory language by drafting language and providing support to buttress policy. Greg demonstrated understanding of the legislative process and successfully worked with legislators to get Bills passed into law.
