If you’re applying for Social Security Disability you are already stressed...

I sincerely wish I could write a glowing review, but the truth won’t allow that. I contacted Cannon Disability Law in early 2012 after having applied for Social Security Disability and being denied. I had been on Social Security Disability for thirteen years and with a significant amount of effort ...and rehabilitation I returned to full-time employment. After five years of employment I sustained another spine injury and no longer was able to perform my job requirements. Fortunately Social Security allows for such happenings and allows an “expedited reinstatement” that this law firm was unable to negotiate through. Fast forward to September 2015; that’s over three years of my life and two more surgeries waiting and hoping to hear about progress on my case. If you read no further than this understand that my case was a simple reinstatement that took four years and hearing. Perhaps a more competent firm could have mitigated some of that stress and frustration? Communication with this firm happened when I intiated it and only if I persisted. Initially I believed my case was being handled professionally, but after a few years I lost that confidence. There were too many times that I tried to call and the phone system was inoperable, too many messages were unanswered and by the time my case was settled the staff at this firm was arguing with me and being dishonest. If you’re applying for Social Security Disability you are already stressed so you need a firm that will help take some of that burden and this law firm did not do that for me.

Smart Lawyer

I have a complex disability that involved my eyesight. Ms. Cannon was able to figure out how to win my case under Social Security's rules and the Judge agreed with her.

Kind and Smart Attorney

Helped me with my case after another attorney said they wouldn't take my case to a hearing. Very smart and nice. She understood what the judge needed to see from my doctor and her office helped he get my evidence.
