I did not double check the notary section of the signature block and my paralegal did not specifically state that I had signed on behalf of the client using my power of attorney. I was discipline for not supervising my paralegal close enough. I was investigated and sanctioned in 2007. This experience has made me double check my work to ensure things are done right.”
