About Jacob
Biography
I started my career working in complex commercial litigation. In my early career, my work primarily focused on assisting large corporate entities litigate significant insurance policies. Although the work was sophisticated, I knew it was missing the human element that I desired. Once I realized this I made a concious decision to transition my practice to focus primarily on domestic litigation.
Today, the bulk of my practice consists of domestic litigation, which includes divorce, custody actions, child support actions, modification and order enforcement. I know that divorce and custody issues are often the most emotionally and financially stressful times in my clients' lives and I take great pride in walking them through the process.
I pride myself on being a pragmatic problem solver and am constantly looking for solutions that are in my clients' best interest. Not all situations require a "scorched earth" approach, but some do. I understand the difference between cases that require a delicate touch and those that need aggressive litigation and tailor strategy to suit my clients' needs.
