I went to her office to get advice on my immigration situation, and she gave us the wrong information. When was finally time for my immigration interview, the officer looked at us and couldn't understand how/why this attorney petitioned this case. And because I waited here while was an on-going process, by the time the officer told us the only option I had was to go back to my country and file the petition THERE- I was here out of status for more than the time I could be out of status- giving me a BAN for reentry for 10 years!
