Great laywer hands down!

When I met Spencer I was in I bad spot legally and struggling just as a person. I was out in the hall thinking of what to do. I didn't even know he was a laywer and he came and helped me out and explained some legal things to me out of kindness. I was facing 5 charges in one case, 4 misdameanors a...nd one was a Felony. He took a very strict approach with my case. The thing I liked about Spencer was that he never sugar coated anything. So I knew what to expect. He was very upfront with everything that was going on. The prosecutor wanted me to serve 30 days in jail. Long story short.. I never did a single day in jail. My felony got dropped as well as 3 other charges. I plead guilty to one misdameanor and paid a very small fine. It was the best case scenario BY FAR. I don't even have a car and he came and picked me up before court when I missed the bus I was suppose to take to get there. Very nice and genuine person. In the end of the day he helped me get back on my feet and be able to put court behind me. I would reccomend Spencer "Benny" to anyone. I had a lawyer in a previous case that showed up the day of court and was like.. so what happened again? It was embarrasing and not helpful. Spencer ended up helping me on that case too and was very instrumental as well. Overall I think he is above and beyond an amazing lawyer. He actually cared that I got through the process and wasn't just there collecting a check.

Great Experience. Thank You!

Spencer (Benny) was very helpful, considerate, and effective. This was my first experience with an attorney ever and a good experience. Run-ins with the law are worrisome, always, but a good attorney takes the stress off. It would have been very difficult for me to deal with this while not present in... Utah. Benny smoothed everything out. He entered my plea in abeyance and my case was dismissed after the 364 day period. Thanks Benny! Keep up the good work.

Capable but don't expect miracles.

Originally called Brother Christopher and somehow ended up with Spencer, Benny, or whatever. Nice enough guy. Somewhat newly licensed at the time. The most basic of representation. Minor criminal offense but I just as well have not had an attorney and would have received the same sentence while savin...g the $2000 fee. He did his job, though. I guess.

Would not recommend for criminal cases

I hired Benny (Spencer) Salcido in 2015/2016 to help with my DUI case. I was given a "refusal to blow into the breathalyzer" even though I did blow into the breathalyzer once, and it pulled a reading, but wasn't deemed satisfactory. Their was an obvious and clear abuse of police power that can be see...n from the dash-cam videos of my arrest. Not only did Benny (Spencer) not push to have the refusal to blow dropped, literally the only thing that he was able to "consult" for me was changing the community service requirements to wearing an ankle monitor instead. I'm not sure why community service would have ever been part of the agreement in the first place, if I can't drive, how am I supposed to get to community service? Benny (Spencer) frequently ignored my emails and phone calls for weeks at a time, and I was hardly ever updated on my case. He claimed he took it to the attorney general, but I honestly don't really believe that. So, after the $5,000 dollars I spent on Spencer, I still received an 18 month revocation of my license, an ankle monitor, fines like crazy, a drunk-driving course, and now that I have finally have my license back, I still have over a year with a breathalyzer on my car. For a first time DUI, where I didn't blow too much over the legal limit, this is ridiculous. If I hadn't hired Spencer, I probably could have negotiated the exact same outcome. To Spencer's credit, when I got the DUI I was frantic, and hired the first DUI attorney who would answer the phone, so that is on me for not doing my due diligence. I absolutely would not recommend hiring Spencer, especially if you have a unique case. If you want someone to just push you through the system and not truly fight for what is in the best interest of their client, then he is your guy.
