As an attorney, I pledge to seek for the truth, give sound legal advice, and advocate with the utmost integrity. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1990 with a BA degree in Japanese and with MBA and JD degrees in 1996. I was admitted to the Utah State Bar in October of 1996 and have practiced law in the private sector since. I am also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Utah and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit. I am active in the Construction, Real Property and Dispute Resolution Sections of the Utah State Bar and served for 4 years in the Construction Section leadership. I have been a guest speaker on topics including defective construction claims and defenses in Utah, unforeseen site conditions, the application of the economic loss rule in construction cases, and alternative dispute resolution. I offer services for a variety of legal concerns including litigation services for construction, real estate, contract and other commercial disputes, probate administration and litigation services and fiduciary services. I also provides arbitration and mediation services for expedited and inexpensive resolution of disputes involving these areas of law.

"I have dealt with Daniel as a mediator of my cases and as opposing counsel. He is an able litigator. But what sets him apart is his problem solving skills, both as a mediator and a litigator. He understands his role and performs it admirably."
"I have known Dan as a professional colleague for years now and have always been impressed with his knowledge and skill in mediation and in the law. I call on him regularly when I have questions that fall within his areas of expertise and I have found his advice to be consistently sound. He is a thoughtful, careful, and effective advocate for his clients. His fees are always reasonable, and he works hard at being accessible to his clients. I have no hesitation referring my clients to Dan when they need a skilled litigator or mediator. I highly recommend Dan both as a lawyer and as a mediator."
