Truth does not even deserve a star

Roland Uresk Family Law Indigent Defense DCFS Case serious case as it was my children at stake. Did not answer phone calls Asked me to voluntarily revoke my parental rights 5 times DCFS Kirk Harris explained to my mother why they ask attorneys to do this. At the time I was no aware of what it me...ant to revoke my parental rights I did not sign the papers. Was never updated regarding my two children. TPR hearing prosecutor put a UA agreement in front of me dated at the time I was incarcerated. Roland did not object ask to see it just let it pass. Roland was a parental rights conference met my mothers attorney who was speaking about my case they met put my parental rights into Appellate court. Case was sent back to the lower court. To look at my mom as the guardian in a new case. He did not update me about the Appellate case. Waited until it was sent back to the Appellate left my mom a message asking her attorneys name when he met him and five petitions for custody with her attorneys name on them were up in Roosevelt. The Appellate sent it back to the lower court asking for transcripts stating that DCFSs reply was rather generic Fact and Law is what Appellate court wanted. Roland failed to get the transcripts I was never informed of any of the process. Had I been or my mom we would have ordered the transcripts. DCFS stopped the kin process the week before the TPR hearing I was not informed by Roland of the TPR hearing nor did Roland argue in my favor in return my parental rights were terminated. I gave him some documents to give to my mom he kept them they were regarding placing them with my mother from DCFS and my cousin stating they would not terminate my parental rights. The case was about the kids mother I did not sign a service plan with DCFS. He never did anything but try to have me revoke my parental rights stating that way I could see them. My son had a black eye the foster mom denied I have the tape. Roland has not replied nor did he advocate for kin I gave him my family's names over and over. I have since read what a child welfare attorney is supposed to do. Roland did nothing never answered calls was not in my opinion loyal to me his client I feel he did the bidding for DCFS. You have no idea how painful it is to be handed down a life sentence for myself, my kids, my family. This is factual and I would not recommend Roland Uresk to anybody he does not take his job seriously this was a serious case and his utter lack of professionalism disregard for his clients is reckless. How he was even allowed to take a child welfare case and get paid by the State is incomprehensible.

family law, criminal and other

Mr Uresk as an attorney does not employee 1-4 people. he can barely afford his part time secretary. He was assigned to me, as my public defender in a case; whereas, I found myself, doing all the work and be proactive. My Judge evan told him at one point in a court review to sit down and shut up as ...his defense was going nowhere. I then spoke honestly and earnestly to my Judge and he and I were able to conclude the proceedings Mr Uresk is very unprofressional in the court room and "feel lucky" if he evan shows up. He speaks out out turn and has an extremely poor reputation in the Uintah Basin. He is too busy taking care ofp personal matters tofocus on any case.
