Be Cautious

I hired Marsha Lang and paid her a $1,500 retainer after she presented herself as my lawyer and had me sign a contract. Later I discovered her Utah Bar status is SuspDisc (suspended for disciplinary reasons), meaning she wasn’t even allowed to practice law when she took my money. During our brief ...interactions, she told me my ex-wife was “double dipping” and advised me not to pay her. Two months later, she dropped my case because she said I was paying. She also told my wife that I was draining her bank account suggesting she should leave me. She admitted to my wife that “with this Judge, all you have to do is tear up and he will side with you.” She also mentioned her that she friended my ex wife. Not long after, my ex did exactly that in court. The judge sided her and placed a quick judgement against me. Marsha never appeared in court for me, but she took my money, created conflicts with my family, and walked away. I have since filed a complaint with the Utah Office of Professional Conduct and requested restitution. Anyone considering hiring her should know her license is suspended, and in my experience, she caused harm instead of help.

Run!!!!!!!

Don’t be fooled by her! Wasted a lot of time with her. She’s very slow at her job. She’s not updated with the rules. She’ll make it seem like her mess up is because of you.

Super star attorney

Its been about 5 years of knowing marsha, of that time she has became a member of my family, she always checks up on me, wants what best for my kids first, knows my financial situation but finds a way to make it work because she is so passionate about her job. I never seen a woman so strong so determ...ined that nobody can knock her down and when she is there in court with me i feel the safest, I can be confident as a black man in utah with full custody of my kids because she will not tolerate any bullying from commissioners, judges, other attorney's. I feel blessed to have meet her, my family adores her, she is an excellent choice if you are looking for family law help/support, very fair with prices, always will to go the extra mile for her clients.

Excellent

I have had Marsh as my attorney for almost 8 years now. She is honest and fair. She understands Famliy law better then any other attorney that I have dealt with. She has always has been up front with me on what the outcome could be. She works with in the law and cares deeply about what the best inter...ests of my children is. Many people don’t like her because she knows the law and cares about her clients. I would recommend her to anybody.

Completely unprofessional, rude and arrogant, has no regard for the children she represents only herself.

I talked to her over the phone about representing me on a family law case. She told me she was willing to do "whatever it took" which I liked hearing, I didn't know that meant break the law and lie. She went to mediation to represent me and was completely unprofessional and rude not only to the media...tor(innocent party) but to my ex who in no way deserved the attitude and disrespect she received. I later found out she had lost her license and completely understand why, steer clear of this Attorney, she is no good and has no care of concern for the children only making money.
