Peter Lattin: Lattin Law Firm

My wife and I had an investment that ended up being a Ponzi scheme. The appointed receiver for the assets that were being liquidated from the fraudulent company contacted us requesting that we relinquish any claim that we had to a property that we supposedly had an interest in as part of our investme...nt. Peter reviewed the pertinent documents and explained to us exactly what had happened--the problem, in short, was that the property had never been correctly assigned to us. Peter advised us on all possible actions we could take and recommended what he thought would be our most appropriate course. We were very satisfied with his responsiveness, knowledge level and overall service.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
