I hired Mark for a bankruptcy last year that I initially tried to do on my own until I realized how confusing and tedious not only the instructions were but the whole process would have been. Mark was recommended to me and I met with him two or three days later. He told me in simple terms what to... bring in for the next meeting and gave me step by step instructions that were easy to understand and follow. This Lawyer is not to be trusted, he totally messed up the paperwork for our bankruptcy, and then when we tried to contact him by phone, the number he gave us was disconnected, we went to his office and it was closed, we lost the money we gave to him to handle our bankruptcy, then we hired another la...wyer and when we went to bankruptcy court and were waiting to go in, he showed up with another client, saw us then quickly left the room with his clients...NO TO BE TRUSTED...it's criminal what he got away with...tried to file a complaint, but nothing was done, the judge said that we couldn't file a chapter 7, because it was denied for lack of proper filing and that we would have to file a Chapter 13, which we did...DO NOT HIRE MARK R. EMMETT AS A LAWYER OF ANY KIND
